Did this one. I had to grind cutouts on the plastic cover both front and rear for full recline.
If you use the little "flip seat" lever on the back of the seat when in full recline mode, it can screw things up as the gearing gets released while not engaged. The normal adjustment lever got stuck and needed to be freed with channel locks and rocking the seat with the release switch on the back.

Instead of removing the pin.
Why not just drill out a small channel for a new stop to where the ratchet part will rest against the pin ?
