SVT suspension kit is great bang for the buck. Not slammed to the ground, but lowered a little from stock ZX3 height. Rides nice and functional.

If you are shopping for used wheels in 15" or 16" there are several 4x108 wheels that fit.
I have a set of 6 spoke 16" Mercury Cougar wheels on mine.
I'm looking at a set of 5 spoke 15" Mustang wheels right now. Thinking about going to 15's

You should be able to sell your old suspension and wheels pretty easily

Thatís what I would have thought, but, unfortunately there is only a handful of foci in my town. I might stick with 17ís. I bought a set of new tires today, didnít have time to get them installed before work, so made an appointment for tomorrow morning. The wheels I have arenít too bad, they just need a good color. I was thinking bronze. I did a set bronze on my Sti, the stock bbs wheels. They came out great. I used self etching primer, then the bronze wheel coating from oreilly, then had them cleared at a paint shop. Lasted about 2 years until I started doing autocross, they started chipping. I did drive to work today, wow is all I can say, she shifts smooth, engine feels nice and clean and responsive, drives straight down the road.

Oh, I did have to zip tie the radiator forward. It appears to be missing the top mounts that hold it? I canít see how itís supposed to mount.

And one more question while youíre here. Should I be delicate and gentle with the shifter? After changing the cables, it doesnít seem like itís a very solid mounting/shifter setup. What I mean is, I have been very light on gear changes, i get the feeling if Iím fast or put too much pressure on it, Iím going to break the cables.

One more thing, trying to find these wheels online so I have an idea of what they are worth. But canít come up with anything. The center says AMP on it, but when I went to amp wheels website, that shows the same logo, the wheels they make are extremely lavish.

So, I bought the Hercules RT-5. I had a set of Hercules trail digger MTís on an old Toyota, they were a pretty good tire. Of course these are smoother than what was on it, they were bald and cracking. Time will tell how they perform. Tires came with a 40k warranty and lifetime rotation.

Rumor has it that a local salvage yard might have two SVT foci in there. Going to check tomorrow morning to see. That would be absolutely awesome if they did. Hello motor swap And wheels!

Yep. Rumor. Two standard zx3ís. Basically down to the shell and picked clean. Thought I was gonna get lucky.

Shaking/vibration

So Iím stuck. On one hand, I want the svt suspension, on the other hand, I want stock.

Hereís my reasoning. I drive 40 miles each way to and from work. The road I drive is curvy, but not a fun curvy, the curves are banked wrong, dips are extremely deep and rough. Coming to work takes about 30 minutes, going home about 45-50. The reason for this is there is SEVERAL bad dips on the east bound side of garlock. Svt would help with handling, this is true, but, how is it going to perform if I decide to do 65-70 the whole way as opposed to slowing down at each bad dip to 35-40?
