VW motor swap

I found a 2.0t FSI motor from a 2006 vw Passat and was considering swapping it into my 2005 zx3. Has anyone heard of this being done or could help me with information on how to go about starting this

Not wise young Grasshopper................we gotta wonder at the mental processes that came up with THAT. Starting indeed, you may well do that but finishing is an entirely different thing.

I'd start by studying the wiring diagrams and realizing just how complex of a system you are dealing with. Bending metal to make it physically fit is one thing. Making the restraint module, the abs module, the body module, talk to? The VW engine PCM? The Ford PCM won't run that engine, that's for certain. How about a 2.5L swap from a Fusion?
