That looks pretty close, just how much interference do you have to the heat shield for the vapor canister there?

Just how to route wiring at the brake fluid reservoir is the usual question when installing a Duratec bar.

Just to add, mine doesn't have that kink in it. It fits real close to the battery case straight across....I got mine yrs ago.

@sailor about a inch too high on the heat shield and then about inch on the items below it. im somebody that likes the clean look, so on wiring i tend to re-route a number of times until i get it where i like it. damn OCD.

ill be putting up the strut brace up for sale as soon as my month comes up here on the forum. obviously i DONT have the correct brace for my duratec.

can someone confirm who "focusSport" is? ive seen hints its fswerks..

FocusSport was forced to change their name. They are now FSWerks.

Sent from another garage.

Do you know why they were forced? was Ford claiming that the use of Focus was a trade mark name and they did not have use of it? Or was it someone else requesting it?

That looks exactly like my 2001 Zetec Focus Sport strut bar.

I'm not sure. It's been some time.

Not sure what Ford and "knucklebraining" have anything to do with it. The strut bar you showed was designed by FocusSport to fit around a 00-04 Zetec engine. In 2003 some Foci came with the Duratec, and FocusSport changed the design to fit those engines and kept the design to fit the Duratec-only 2005+ Foci.

From what I heard it was due to some sort of bankruptcy.
