Do you have to replace the fuse for mach headlights?

I totally forgot to replace the 10 amp fuses for 15 amps after wiring and installing my Mach headlights 2 months ago. Everything works fine, I was wondering if I still should bother replacing the 10 amp with 15 amps even though all has been well the past two months. And if I should, why? Thanks

Peace of mind? I'm really not sure why the how-to's suggest to replace the fuses, but I went ahead and did it anyway. Only a few bucks for a pack of fuses.

Considering that the 10 will be more sensitive than a 15, you don't risk damaging your headlights. The worst case is that your lights will blow the fuses early and unexpectedly leaving you without headlights. As long as you know what went wrong and you have spares with you, you should be fine.
