Rebuild 2005 zx4

Just bought a 2005 Ford Focus ZX4, and found out the hood and bumper are from a 2000-2001 Focus.
http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/441/img0070it.jpg/

When I looked it up, only 2000-2004 was compatible for front body parts( headlights, hood, bumper ), so I would want to switch it to 2005 to be matching the rest of the car.

How hard would this be to do?

My buddy said I just needed this plus 05 parts to put it in.

Is there anything else im missing, or any info that needs to be provided let me know.

Thanks in advance

He is correct. That radiator support plus 05-07 headlights, hood, bumper, grill and front fenders will do it. Although, many people like the looks of the 00-04 better, its your car, good luck!

I greatly prefer the 00-04 front end over the 05-07, I don't think I would shell out the cash to replace a perfectly good front end just to be correct; but if you prefer the looks of the later style and it's worth it to you to spend the money, it certainly can be done.

I also prefer the 00-04 style. I am bias, what can I say. You could score a set of mach hid's and an Svt grill and bumper if you are lucky! Do you know if it was switched due to the previous owners preference or because it was in an accident and the older parts were cheaper and easier to find?

I have a grille for the 05 that is custom painted. Black trim and metallic red mesh, CF wrapped ford logo.
It could be easily repainted black . One tab on driver side is split but still holds once screwed down. Let me know if ya want it.... Cheap.

Yeah I would spend the money on an svt front bumper, euro grill, and hids.
