at TB on a mt car

Here is the issue. I have an 03 zx3 focus manual transmission. I have had a problem with hanging rev after i removed a superchip that was on the car. Since then i have replaced everything on the car that could possibly effect the idle. After removing the throttle body i found out that the tb was from an automatic car as well as the motor. My question is this, is it possible that the chip somehow told the computer to work with the tb from automatic with the manual and thats why i still have hanging rev? Also is it possible a xcal with a tune will fix it like the chip must have. Or can i just buy the manual throttle body slap it on and problem fixed?

I believe your right on. My brother did the same thing on purpose. Said it feeds more fuel without buying new injectors.
