I'm considering it. I just gotta find some hood pins I can stomach to look at. I just don't like the look of hood pins. I know it's always said "function over fashion", but I couldn't disagree more when it comes to hood pins.

I don't really see what purpose hood pins would provide. The hood is so aggressively vented there is no way sufficient air pressure could build to cause lift.

I like that hood! That hail storm sucked, I got a few unnoticeable dings on my hood, but I have worse dings from rocks. The only hood pins I like are the Aerocatch style. I see beauty in function, but hood pins just don't do it.

Those are the only ones I can somewhat tolerate. And they still just don't cut it. Traditional hood pins just scream rice to me.

Side note: I think the vents do an awesome job at fighting heat soak. 95 degrees in traffic with the a/c running and the car didn't feel as anemic as it used to.

Unfortunately, some carbon fiber hoods have a tendency to separate from the frame resulting in a smashed windshield or hood lying in the middle of the interstate. I'd do it just for precautionary sake; no point in risking damage or injury from a known risk.
