Most of the headlights that you can get on Ebay are decent at best. But they will never replace the OEM reliability or output in most cases. There are some aftermarket companies like Hella that make quality(but expensive) aftermarket replacements. Most of the one's that I have encountered on Ebay have flaws that you have to overcome. Light output seems to be the main concern since most of them don't put out as much light as needed. Another concern with them is the quality of materials used. I have seen them leak and crack after a few months of use. The gaskets that they usually have around them tend to vanish after a few months of use as well. But with anything, you get what you pay for.

Also I am moving this thread to Zetec owners lounge since this has nothing to do with performance.

There are a few options, but it depends on your pricerange. If you dont want to spend a pretty penny to get a decent set of headlights, dont waste your money on a cheapo set

1. OEM Mach HID headlights - About $350-400 for a decent set
2. Hella Headlights - $450-550 for a decent set
3. Retrofit kit - $250 starting
4. Retrofit in ebay housing - $400 starting.

These are the only real options if you want a respectable light setup besides just cleaning up and sticking with your stock headlights.

$80 doesnt include a proper HID housing, just the bulb and ballast.

Dont put HIDs in housings not designed for them, its poor taste and dangerous to oncoming traffic
