Lightbulb Spec-D LED Projector Headlights Question

Has anyone had any problems with these types of headlights and would I need an LED conversion? Thanks!

i had them on my 03. not too bright as far as projecting light. hard to adjust. my stock headlamps were brighter at night. get a resistor kit for the led's or they will burn out.

dont get me wrong. i got mine for $100. so i cant complain. id say to save up for mach hid's

i just took them out of my car yesterday and replaced them with the st170s, you would need to replace the projectors cuz they pretty much suck, light throw is horrible. You have to wire everything seperate, the leds dont last very long with resistors either

save your money and get a good set of headlights

These arent LED Projector Headlights, they are hallogen projector headlights with LED's on the sides. If thats what you are thinking. They currently dont have any LED headlights for cars yet, only fog lights. They just arent powerful enough. Close though!

I actually have these. I'm going to agree that they are definitely not the best around but some thing about them can be adjusted to make them better. For one the actual plastic cover over the headlight is what screws up the light throw. I plan on taking my original headlamp covers and swapping them over cause the plastic from the ford factory is much clearer and really just better in overall quality. Another thing that sucks is the Halo's. They really are not that bright at all. One of my friends and I actually went over to autozone and bought some undercar lighting kit that had 8 blue LEDs and swapped those out inside the Halo's and I must say they look soooo much brighter and just g mean as hell. The bulb size on the projector Is a dinky little H1 so if anything some silverstars will help brighten up your view but yeah. It's really up to you as it's your car. To be honest though I would much rather have a pair of Mach HIDs and am kicking myself for not saving my money and buying a pair of those instead.
