Suggestions to repair minor dent and remove scuff

I backed my motorcycle into the driver side door the other week and now have a minor dent and some scuff and have been unable to remove the scuff using soap and water. I need suggestions on what I can use to remove the scuff without damaging the paint and what ever tools to pop the dent out, if that is possible at all. Thank in advance.

heat up the dent with a hair dryer then take a can of "compressed air" turn it upside down and spray the dent wait a little bit and it will pop out on it's own. as for the scuff have you tried clay barring it?

I love that hair dryer & compressed air idea for the dent. I am going to remember that. I was going to suggest wet soapy water then pull it out with a plunger. It looks like the metal is creased so that (or the hair dryer trick) might not work. Those guys that do paintless dent removal are not that expensive for small stuff. Try the clay bar or a polish/wax with some abrasive in it like rubbing compound or swirl mark remover. If you do it by hand use a circular motion or you could use a buffer. Good luck.
