It looks cool, but it would make working on the car a huge PITA

agreed. i would do this except for the fact that im breaking crap so much that it would quickly become a ginormous pain. if work needed to be done on the engine after doing this mod it would be easier to simply remove the hood

Other than making the car different than someone else's just don't see the practicality in it, unless you got some real long arms.

So I guess it comes down to the age old question which is more important? Style or Functionality?

LMAO, that's my friend's car, the black sedan hehe. Well... he has a new sedan now. I did not even know he had done that to his car, then again he's done every kind of body mod to the focus.

If you like it...that's all that matters.

Me personally I am only use to seeing this on corvettes.

Dodge Vipers have this style of hood also. In all aspects of it, it's a neat mod to have but as other's have said it makes working on the car a pain in the ass unless you feel like removing your hood every time you do work under the hood.

Sorry Jake, just had to laugh at this comment. I know you have had your tranny issues with that car since you first got it. You're on your third transmission now aren't you? You could have bought that transmission and motor from Kevin for $100. It's now being passed around like a whore. Marty bought it then sold it to badass in Louisville and badass told me that the engine was in good shape and so is the transmission. Should have snagged it for myself but didn't have the room for it. Are you going out to Joe's today? I will PM you the address so you know. I am going to meet Shaun over at Eastgate Meijer around 9:30 if you want to follow us up there.
