External handle 2009 SE focus coupe

Allo everyone,

So, the external handle of our 2009 SE coupe stopped opening the door. Pulling it only leads to floppy frustration. You can still open it from the inside however.

Long story short, I take off the door panel, and I see that a piece of metal has sheared off. I bought the replacement part, but now I can’t get to one screw because the window is in way!

Is there a way to get to this without having to take the entire window out.

You're making US work more to help YOU with that so far incomplete link, not a good start. We hate PB enough as it is to not want to work with it willingly.

No, the window does not have to come out. You raise it to clear the screw.

Really and my mistake if so, I never had to remove them from my earlier model. Or maybe I am simply crazy.
