Fan doesn't come on and car will overheat

Hi i have a 2002 ford focus SE. Some months ago i got a thermostat housing fixed. The leaking stopped but my fan doesn't come on when it reaches a certain temperature. Pror to that it was working fine. If i run a wire directly from the battery to the fan the fans work. Any idea why its not functioning like it supposed to?

Check the point where the fan wiring attaches to top center of the radiator fan shroud, that plug-in often melts and your issue if so.

Which engine do you have (SPI or Zetec)?
Do the fans work when you turn on the AC?
