2017 Key replacement

Other than the local dealer, are there Options for getting a new key for a 2017? We lost one of the two.

Our local dealer quoted $180 for the key, and $100 to program.

Why you always make the 3rd one yourself while you have two................save $$$$$$$$$$.

Well equipped locksmiths can do it.

Call Batteries Plus. They can cut and program for a lot less.

They used to tell you how in the owner manual. I did it with earlier models.

With only a single key, you can program them using Forscan and the appropriate scan tool. Dealer will have to cut the new key. You can find aftermarket keys for around $20 with the remote functions and the chip. Just make sure you get the right one using the number from your existing key.
