2.0 vs 2.3 alternator

So I'm pretty sure my alternator went for a poop on my 2007 2.3 duratec. Battery won't hold a charge but I have replaced it twice in 6 months so it can't be the battery. It was slow to crank over and there was a loss in power when accelerating. It's completely dead now. I'm thinking it's the alternator not charging the battery anymore. Just wondering if there's any difference between the 2.0 and the 2.3 alternator? I dont want to buy one to find out it's the wrong one.

I'd order one thats for your car. btw I'd get a new one vs a reman as you don't want to do it twice. Its not a easy swap like the starter.
