Delayed start

Hi forum members
I have a zx4, 05, 2l, and when I start the car it takes a few turn for it to start. Sometimes it also may start on a choke after a few turns. Also I just discovered i'm driving with a faulty transmission solenoid A. My overdrive on/off light turned yellow at 40km in heavy traffic . it happened 2 times but has not re-occurred since. Now. My 2nd to 3rd gear shift change has a little delay. I've been driving roughly 500km with that issue.
Can anybody give my some advice thanks. Forgot to mention I have 135,000km135,000km

for the starting, could be fuel pump, injectors, coil pack, plug wires, or spark plugs. you mention choking so i would say its fuel related. people often forget about the fuel filter, when is the last time you replaced it?

it sounds like you already know what is wrong with you transmission...

How old are the spark plugs and individual coils? (no coilpack on this engine). Check fuel pressure with a scan tool: should be 39/40 relative fuel pressure.
