2005 ZX5 Manual Motor Mount

Long time reader of the forum, first time posting a thread..

Live in Canada here and need to replace my motor mounts. I read everyone recommending OEM so called up local ford place and they are selling the one passenger side mount for $211 (Canadian dollars) incl. taxes.

Rockauto is my go to, but they seem to only have a hydraulic mount for automatic transmission.

rockauto.com/en/moreinfo.php?pk=4701477&jsn=__GIP__3__
So am looking for a passenger side mount, either the ford part code which all i could find is 6038. To order from ebay?

Or a suitable aftermarket..

Have been searching and reading through the forum but can't find the answer..

Am thinking of checking my junkyard, but chances are i won't find a manual zx5..

Thanks for all the great info in the forums..

You can try Rockauto for the trans mount....but I'd recommend buying several at the same time.

junkyard wouldn't be advised either as motor mount and trans mount failures are common on these cars.

IDK what discount sellers ship to Canada, or are located there.

Cheaper off brand units aren't as good, so accept shorter life/more vibration or go stock.

Be VERY careful of E-Bay.

MANY parts on there are listed by Ford part number, and are NOT Ford parts.

Read details VERY closely, and be sure the part can be returned.

Yeah thanks for the heads up, I'm pretty cautious on ebay..

Looking at getting it from Fairway Ford on ebay seem legit..
Quick search here and saw another person was happy using them for there mount..

Going to junkyard tomorrow fingers crossed for a standard car and a decent looking mount..

Thanks again guys
