Ford Focus 2.0 Clipper Timing Belt interval

Hello,

I have an Ford Focus 2.0 130ps zetec Clipper from 2002.

The timing belt was changed on 2012 year at 112000 kilometers

Today the car has 135000 kilometers

What is the interval for change the timing belt ? 120000 kilometers/5 years or 120000 kilometers/10 years ?

Seems it depends on timing belt tensioner if is automatic or manual ?

Regards

^^^those numbers are a range in miles from lowest comments to factory recommendation.

60 to 80k miles came from many that went years without change, and gave up from age. No factory age comment, over 10 is too much for sure.

120K or miles after around '99 or so, when all the belts began to get kevlar in them, before that it was 60. Per Gates. SVT of course much faster, it bends valves when belt breaks.
