Knock Sensor Location

Where is our knock sensor 2009 ford focus 2.0 duratec. Do we have to remove the IM?

Unfortunately yes but that's also the case with most engines. Some of them even have two. I'm just surprised that it's not right in the middle given that there's only one installed here. Anyways, good luck.

Look for a critical torque to install to if removed, they commonly can have one. Needed to work correctly.
