Testing voltage(s) from fan resistor harness
My understanding of the fan resistor is that a voltage comes through one wire, through the resistor, and the resistor restricts the outgoing voltage based on the temperature... correct?
If so, does anyone know the voltage(s) that should be coming out of one side of the harness? (before it goes through the resistor) I'm asking because I want to make sure I'm getting power from the harness before I buy a fan resistor to get my fans working. I'm reasonably sure it's the resistor went, and the harness looks to be in good condition.
Thanks in advance
If it wasn't for law enforcement & physics, I'd be unstoppable.
