clutch master cylinder say

Hey, my foci is running again, but with a problem.. the clutch master cylinder is leaking for the second time, and seems like i just F up my clutch pedal,
I went to a shop and i got a quote for the master cylinder and labor, its a good deal, about 60 bucks.

The manager told me its weird that the master cylinder failed for a 2nd time now, then i told him about my spec clutch, i told him the pedal was harder to press than the OEM, and he said that was the problem, and i had to look for a kinda "heavy duty" replacement? because if not, the master cylinder is going to keep going out..

IS that true?, if so, is there is a better master cylinder or what do i have to do?

thats a good question. i was thinking about the same thing today. i just replaced mine a few days ago. was not the most pleasent experience. before i installed it i investigated the new one. all i can say is JUNK. that cheap POS is the complete opposite of performance. im suprised no one makes an upgraded one such as CFM or Focussport. im pretty sure the factory one is ok for your average focus with stock clutch but once you step up the pressure on the pressure plate your gonna have to apply more pressure to pedal to disengage. that part doesnt have the right materal used as far as seals and housing. hope you find one that is aftermarket. if you do send me some info on it
