A/C stops blowing cold when idling/stopped

So I drove my car through 1-2 feet deep flood water during Tropical Storm Faye. Now my A/C is having problems. While driving at 20+ mph, it blows ice cold. While idling or at < 20mph it stops blowing cold air (i.e. the fan is working, but the air coming out is hot)

I'm wondering if it's my compressor clutch or something else electrical (I really doubt the refrigerant needs a recharge). I'm not even really sure how to diagnose this. Not like I can drive around with a voltmeter hanging off my hood. Any ideas?

get it checked out. check the compressor or the fan. the water could have had something to do with it
