Code: P2195

I started the other thread about it before and tried to get help.. seems like in only get one help so far.

I did a SVT header swap.. with stock used SVT cat.. and relocated the rear o2 sensor (by extending the connector to connect with the rear sensor) and It threw a code P0150, but i bought a new front o2 sensor (Bosch) and it now throws a code P2195 (which is o2 sensor stuck lean bank1 sensor1).. I checked the fuses and its all good.. and I checked the heat circuit.. it looks okay.. so what's going on?

Your connector extension may have too much resistance, loose connector, that would through the voltage off getting back to the controller

I am thinking about getting the motorcraft one.. since the bosch ones suck. they didnt honor the warranty, so i am screwed out of 44 dollars oh well. (at least i only paid for one front one.)

I will recheck my wire connector later this week and see before doing something else...

Anyone else have a good suggestion why it may happen?

your rear 02 sensor could be having 2 problems...1-mentioned above, with the extension....the low voltage may be having resistance problems for the signal.... 2-that sensor monitors you cats health...a tune from focus sport (sct xcal2) will disable that sensor all together (CEL)....including the possible resistance problem....with your mods you should be tuned anyway....btw: this code/sensor wont effect drivability or performance at all....just an annoying CEL.

front 02 sensor: well the thunderbird members curse the bosch sensors (being my t-bird has 4 of em...yep 4)....so quality is a must....there are alot of possibilities for that lean code...(starting with the POS bosch o2 sensor)...but if your not getting any other codes then i would start by looking for a vacuume leak....you could run lean from a dirty maf, ecessive egr flow or a shorting/bad fuel injector..(and the list goes on)...but to start with the basics, did you re-set your ecu after the header install?...either way, id get this addressed asap....its not good to run lean...all that leads to is detonation...(knocking and pinging)....i hope this helps.

yeah we did reset the ECU after the header install.. but i believe the battery have to be disconnected before the header install? either way, I am going to check..

how do i know if i have a dirty MAF sensor?

excessive egr flow... even from the new ones that came with the SVT header kit?

fuel injector.. ok i am gonna look at that..

MAF: lets see, you have a volant intake....if your filter was to be over oiled that residue can coat your maf sensor, then dirt sticks to the oil...causuing it to screw up your air/fuel mixture....it happens all the time on my other forum....my t-bird k&n filter sits just a few inches away from my maf sensor...so we gotta clean them every now and then...most parts stores carry maf cleaner.....just remove it and spray all the shit off of it....as a reference, my ST's maf got a little dirty from my steeda intake. after re oiling it.

EGR: you would know if you were getting ecessive egr flow (due to the valve stuck open or the dpfe sensor malfunctioning)...a code would be thrown....but not always....ecxessive egr flow symptoms are/or will be rough idle and a stumble upon acceleration.

these are my 3 guesses:
-a faulty sensor
-shorting or leaking injector
-vacuume leak
