Ford Cars: Anyone buying a 2018 model?

With Ford set to stop making cars in the US, has anyone else (besides me) thought about trading their current Ford for a 2018?

Iíve noticed some pretty good deals already for 2018 Focus SE, SEL, Titanium & ST at my local Ford Dealers. Iíve looked at used 2015-2017 Focus models & the brand new 2018s are almost the same price.

Was thinking about trading my 2013 Focus Titanium Hatch for the same car, but a 2018 Titanium Hatch edition.

What month would be the best time to buy a brand new 2018 Focus or Fusion?

Who else is considering buying in 2018?

I'd think depending on the color & options your wanting.....I'm seeing the st's at good prices, haven't looked at used to compare prices....If I was buying on, I'd be looking at used st's. I'd go for the ingot silver on the '13-'14's, but do like the blue on the '18's....

From the brief searches ive done, seems like new ST1's are selling for around the price of used ST3's. So depending on what you think about used with a few miles vs the options on the ST1 vs st3, you have some options. Just know the longer you wait, the less new ones you will start seeing.

What exactly are the main differences between an ST1 & ST3? Two noticeable things are the wheels & also the size of the screen on the dash, along with the seats. Does a Titanium Hatchback have more interior options that an ST1?

I got quoted a price of a new 2017 ST1 for less than $20,500 with discounts.

That does look very nice! I really like the smaller taillights & front end. The only thing I could do without is the sunroof. The SEL is a very nice package & has the 8Ē screen inside so Iím considering one. Iím disappointed that there are no longer any improved wheel choices on the 2018 Titanium package anymore.

I was just browsing new Focus ads today & there were several brand new 2017 Focus Titaniumís still for sale at local Ford Dealers. Whatís funny to me is that they have their remaining 2017s priced the same as the 2018 models. Go figure? Lol why would anymore buy a 2017 over a 2018 if theyíre priced the same? And I really wish they would make more of them w/o a sunroof & instead put the nicer 18í ST wheels on them as an option.
