Really? I had seen a couple of Escapes (SEL) in Blue Metallic on the lot of my local dealer, and the colour didn't look that great in my opinion.

However, when I saw Blue Metallic on an Edge (Titanium), it looked a hell of a lot better. I really don't know how it's possible, because, in theory, if they're using the same paint, the colour should appear the same, aside from the design language creating different highlights/shadows across the exterior.

I traded in my '13 SE for a '18 ST3. Found a dealer in Tampa who had it listed at 23.9K. Sticker on the window was 32.2K. Gas mileage isn't quite as good, but what blast it is to drive. I'm really getting into the six speed manual. It shifts so easy and smooth. Still not quite sure of the racaro seats. I guess I'll have to get used to them. I got the metallic color.

That is a great looking car & those are the wheels I would get also! I much prefer those over the snowflake wheels. I haven’t sat down in an ST w/ those seats but I keep hearing mixed reviews about them. Your SE model probably got 28 MPG city? So how much worse is the ST? What was the learning curve going from an AT ‘SE’ to using a clutch & shifting a manual again? I’ve seen 2018 ST1 pkgs. at my local dealers (or within 50 miles) reduced to as low as 20.3k) but idk if I can live with that small 4” screen. That magnetic gray does look fantastic though!

I've considered it but I don't know that I trust those automatic transmissions did they ever get the bugs worked out of them?

I did pretty good on gas with the '13 SE. The ST isn't quite as good, but I do tend to drive pretty conservative for the most part, so this helps. But, with the ST it's hard to keep the urge not to put your foot into it. It just begs you. LOL. The shifting with the manual tranny is smooth as silk. Each gear slides in with ease. I really enjoy the shifting. Yeah, I had the four inch small screen in my SE. It's a huge upgrade for me with the full eight inch screen.

No one seems to ever answer that question. I have no idea if a 2018 Focus drives & shifts differently vs a 2012-2014. I would love to drive a 2018 Focus for a week just to compare it vs. my 2013.

My Powershift-equipped Titanium built in Q3 of 2016 never gave me problems. I think past that point Ford managed to get it right. That's been my experience, anyway...

Our Q3 2016 started acting up after about a year. Just traded it in.
Luckily Carmax thinks the issue only affects the 2012's. They won't buy them anymore.
