2010 Focus SE 69K miles Tech Issues?

We are looking to buy another Focus, 2009 SES with 89K miles, automatic this time.
Car Fax looks very good, one owner, no accidents, dealer oil changes every 3Kish, all documented.
Oil looks clean, trans fluid looks pink, coolant looks a bit dirty but is yellowish.

Drives fine, trans seems to downshift readily on the highway, then sometimes
shifts back up quickly - maybe I didn't keep my foot into it enough.
Overall seems to drive fine.

We have a 2010 stick, so I think we are familiar with the issues.
Anything to worry about with the automatic or anything else to look for?

'... trans seems to downshift readily on the highway, then sometimes

That is perfectly normal if the exact speed you chose to do the downshift at was close enough to almost shift into the next gear anyway. They try to get them into OD as fast as possible to save fuel.

Thanks very much, I think we are going to buy this car.

It even looked like the passenger side mount was already changed.

KBB tells me $5000 to $6800 is fair price.
The interior is a bit dirty, I'd guess that they had a dog, and there is a very
small dent on the front fender.
Trying to get it out the door for $5K.

As being an owner of the same gen focus, you should be aware of any of the normal quirks. Lucky to find one dealer maintained on the fluid changes, thats a plus. Suspension/engine/interior/exterior is all the same, only difference is the auto.

Auto is rated for just a bit less mpg and I would expect the SES to perhaps weigh a few pounds more than your base S

Sorry for posting in the wrong place.

First guy would not accept $5K out the door, he was at 5.4K surprised he didn't
offer to meet in the middle.
Found a 2010 SE, perfect exterior except for dent way under the door in the
rocker that is not visible unless you bend over, 69K miles. Car FAX shows well
maintained by dealers. One owner no accidents. They met me at $5.6K out
the door and I bought it. It has new tires, front brakes, flushed brake fluid,
air and oil filters, all just done to sell it.
Needs a new passenger side motor mount but it is an easy job.
We are pleased to get a car one year newer with 20K less miles and a clean
interior for just a bit more.

Trans fluid is pink like new, was it probably recently changed or does it last in
these cars?

Thanks to everyone on here for all the help, really appreciate it!

The ford manual for a 2010 says every 150k for the auto's, assuming you went auto since i don't recall any of the manuals having a dip stick to check the color (and the manual color is amber/honey colored.)

Just regularly check the level and you should be fine. If it looks good and smells fine, you should be good. If you notice any issues with shifting, then fresh fluid is probably a good idea.
