They have butane soldering irons that you can use in those situations. :-)

Just be careful you don't burn your hand like an idiot --

I've got one from dremel. The hole for exhaust is just above the tip on one side. I've both melted what I've been working on as burnt some skin.

Though we can just assume I suck.

I got the support bars being put into my custom grill I am making last night. Once they are "sealed/hardened" into place, I will attach to the top, and start cutting the rest of it. I am HOPING it is done by the end of the weekend!

Picked up some knobs at the pick yard. They were solid aluminium so I had to have them. Rough shape so I went ahead and spent some time with sandpaper to pretty them up.

They might go in the sedan now. Not sure.

Ive been looking for a set of used Focus steel rims for some winter tires for the car.

I found a set of 16 in rims with winter tires, TPMS and caps for 400 off craigslist that came off a 14 Focus. I couldn't pass on the Michelin x ice 3s with 9/32nd tread left, now just waiting until some cold weather before putting them on (its been in the 50s here in MN this last week).

Replaced my fog bulbs.

Turns out.... Didn't need replacing. Old ones were good, it was the wires that were cut on my passenger fogs. :(

Who knew stock fog bulbs would last upwards of 110K miles.
