The black dots on the pedal. a row of 3 than 2 than 3 then 2 than 3? A recent post on face book showed that it stock was something else than what I have.

I will let you know how it turns out. You will need a gallon of it for your seats!

Loose the airbox? No! Staying "stock" Got the ITG drop in filter also for it and fixed the top airbox. I already got that fixed and to stock so no change on that again or in the future.

Plan in the beginning is only going to be Tune, TB, and short throw shifter. The low bog off the line is killing me on the SVT. I am use to my Other Zetec with higher final drive, Light whey fly wheel, TB and Tune. I have sadly killed the engine on this car more times trying to get going in 1st than I think I have the last 10 years with my other Zetec.

Your pedals look exactly like the ones in my SVT.

They do sell aftermarket dead pedals, but I'm not a fan of the look…. they tried to make them look OEM, but they didn't.

Great job on the restoration of this wonderful car! You surly got the BEST color for an SVT! I look forward to seeing your progress on it! I'm glad you decided to pick one up and keep it on the road! You've done a stellar job thus far, keep it up!

Thanks. I have been on the look out for a 5 door in this or orange and this was a perfect opertunity. My guess is the PO was tired of the costs and repair work needed on it. He did not do any of the work him self. Doing the labor your self makes things cheaper to maintain.

With regards with some stuff, SVT specific vs non SVT.

I am guessing body components, control arms, doors, cross members, hoods, etc are all common and not different. Driver side rear door has a fair amount of rust on it. So is likely better and easier to get one and spray it than try to repair and spray. Will a rear door from any ZX5 work. Just would have to move over the trim pieces and such. But are identical right?

Correct, only body pieces SVT exclusive would be the front/rear bumpers and the side skirts. Any door, or other exterior components do not differ.

And Spoiler.

Technically for the time you could include the mirrors and door handles...was gonna say Machs but they were introduced in 2000.

This is where I go, small items, like you do, I get off Amazon. Larger orders through Autogeek, always sales and BOGO.

A year one have difficulty with paint shops matching the yellow? I got a gun for Christmas and have done other minor stuff. I have heard that the tangerine scream has been difficult for shops to paint/match post factory.
