You HAVE probably narrowed it down to these 2 points. Thanks very much for that. What I meant by the "circular" area was the"half moon area circled.

Maybe I will start off with the windage tray and then do the oil pan right after it since I can't tell if the oil pan is also leaking anyways.

I got the Felpro kit after you posted this. I can drive it and see if it stops. If it doesn't, I can do the front main seal right afterwards during my timing belt replacement. The Felpro kit has all of these seals anyways. Might not be a bad time to clean up or replace the oil pickup with this many miles since that seal is included. Heck, might even upgrade the cat since I have the hassle of taking it down...yuck!

Just make sure you don't use the gasket on the oil pan, it will leak.

Thanks...wouldn't dream of it. The Right Stuff all the way. Any idea if the gasket is ok for the windage tray?

You have to have one for that, the gasket sits down in the groove and the "half mooned circle area". I think some people put RTV with the gasket, not sure on that.

I wonder if it is one of those cases where I have to add a limited amount of RTV in a certain areas. With like 6 other cars I am too cheap to buy a manual.
