Another wheel fitment question

SO, currently im running a 17x8 wheel with a -30 offset, with no modifications done and no rubbing or problems whatsoever. This is on a 195 45 r17 yokohama s drive tire.
Im looking at a set of a wheels and sadly theyre only available in 17x8.5 or 18x8.
I know the 18x8 is not realistic and its gonna give the fenders too many smooches.
But the extra half inch on the 17 inch wheel is possible. Oh heres an extra piece of fun! Its only available with a -20 offset. Has any one dabbled this wide yet?
Everyone seems scared to run even 8 inch wide rims and i have 0 issues. Whats a lil more?

You posted in the SVTF section:

But WOW, a 195/45R17 tire?

The SVTF recommended tire size is 215/45R17

I'm not sure exactly the OE EAP 17" wheel/rim offset is but my setup is this>>>

Summer- 225/45R17
Winter- 205/50R17

oe offset on the 17x7 is 49mm.

recomended for a 8" wheel is 40mm.

30 is likely only fitting because you are stretched.

20mm is really far away from recomended. you'll have like a inch gap bewtween the wheel and strut, and who knows what it would do to your fenders.

Yes i decided to just pass on them for now and wait for something else to come around. It makes you want to jump everytime you see 4x108 since theyre hard to find.
