I'd checkout Trico, Goodyear, Michelin, Anco, Rain-x also.......Figure out to go w/ the beam style or the conventional spring tension frame/bridge style. I've been using the Goodyear blades you can get at Costco for $10. per blade w/ no problems. Make sure your windshield is clean & smooth w/o not debris. You don't want the blades to be scraping dirt/debris around as that brakes down the rubber like sand paper.......

I use whatevers on sale... i grab a few pairs when they go on off season sales like the $35.99 ones that Parts Source puts on clearance after winter.. alot have rain-x or whatever but hey at $9 and living in canada wiper blades are usually replaced yearly anyways even if they seem good.. how many times oh my wipers are fine... yeah they are so fine they have now etched a mark into the glass because of embedded debris or a part of it is gone bad/hardened etc...

seeing i have several of the 00-06 focus's they all use the same size anyways and i always have about 5 sets in the garage hanging around seeing ones a 21" and the others a 19".

the only difference between winter blades and summer is the fact winters are designed to resist freezing. and the rubber is slightly more malleable when cold (same idea as winter tires)

If you have a Costco membership:

I went with the "Goodyear" brand they have in stock. Quality product.

I went 1 OR 2-size lengths longer on the drivers side and 1-size longer on the passenger side for maximum coverage...

Can't remember exactly since it's been a couple of years the last time I replaced them.

seen people do that.. had to replace the arms and wiper transmissions when one of the blades fold slightly due to excessive debris/snow and they catch eachother i really dont know how you can go 1-2 sizes larger when at 21 the driver side pretty much lands right at the glass edge 22 goes over the lip and gets damaged and its worst when its on high speed

That's why I bought like 6 different sizes at Costco & went out in the parking lot to test fit PLUS operate the wiper motion to CONFIRM clearance.

After trial & error, I walked right back into Costco and got a refund for the other 4 wiper blades that didn't work.

SIMPLE.... NEVER had a problem ever...

I always find the stock size blades to work on all the vehicles I've had, never had the need to change to oem size/length.

I ended up with the Bosch Icon blades. Since we have had non-stop rain for the last 3-4 days I didn't need to wait too long to test them. NAPA had a small sale on them, so I feel okay about it.

They hold their position pretty good, but there is a little lifting at ~70 Mph, but no where nearly as bad as the previous set that came up at least 1/3 or more.

It is also nice that I have a clean windshield without any streaks.

For the rear, I just got the generic NAPA blade.

Thanks for everyone's input.

Thats great......Clean your windshield real good & add some rain-x to it. At speed you'll find the water just beed's up & blows off.
