Did any SVT Focus come with this option?

Was it ever an option from the factory to have the SVT with no AC? Any year or body style of the SVT?

Thanks.

Not that I know of.....They came pretty well equipped more so than other cars of that era. I always liked them as they're a great driving machine.

That's what I thought. There is a guy with the local SCCA for Auto-X is claiming that his `03 came factory with AC delete.

Sounded off to me so if he deleted his AC it would class him different vs if it was a factory option.

All SVT's had A/C as standard equipment.
I believe on the 4-cylinder SPI motor [NON-Zetec] was the only Focus that A/C was optional.

2002 SVTF Options:

-Only year rear hatch trim/emblem panel was textured black material
- Red or Blue seat inserts
-Audiophile Sound [6-disc headunit, upgrade speakers & Sub]
-Moonroof
-Cold Weather Package [heated seats, heated side-mirrors, traction control & block heater]

2003 SVTF Options both ZX3/ZX5:

-Red or blue seat inserts
-Audiophile Sound [6-disc headunit, upgrade speakers & Sub]
-Moonroof
-Cold Weather Package [heated seats, heated side-mirrors, traction control & block heater]
-HID/Projector headlamps
-European Appearance Package [ZX3 ONLY]

2004 SVTF Options ZX3/ZX5 Options:

6-Spoke silver rim standard [5-spoke discontinued]
-Red or blue seat inserts
-Audiophile Sound [6-disc headunit, upgrade speakers & Sub]
-Moonroof
-Cold Weather Package [heated seats, heated side-mirrors, traction control & block heater]
-HID/Projector headlamps
-European Appearance Package [ZX3 & ZX5]

You could get a Zetec with no A/C , I have seen 6-7 of them , I have never seen a SVT with out A/C and with what they cost and there target market I would say they all had A/C
It wouldnt be hard to check , where all the A/C stuff comes through the fire wall and where it mounts in the fender , the under the dash A/C , Heater box is also different , a little looking and you could confirm what it came with
