Tom I have talked to you before and did what you told me but the light keeps comming back then I took it in to a shop and they reset it and the light came back and the shop told me the vct was sticking and to get another one I was giving the part number from ford and it don’t match what I have on Mine. I bought this car and the cel bulb was blown that’s when I found out it had a timing belt issue also the cam had the ear broke off telling me someone was in there already just trying to make sure someone didn’t change it to something else

Around the block , down the street , sounds about the same distance or close to it

The way I told you to set it if you go to far you get the other code so I am guessing you havent gone far enough with the cam yet

I have been doing the SVT a long time , I am not saying your VCT gear couldnt be bad but I have never seen one bad ever , I dont think your gear is bad , I think you havent gone far enough or your going the wrong direction with the cam
