Electronic LED Flasher

On superbrightleds . com there is a unit called an Electronic LED Flasher which is supposed to work like load resistors but obviously more convenient. Do our Focus' have an existing OEM flasher than can be replaced by this?

P.S. Here is the link, http://www.superbrightleds.com/tail-brake-turn.html it's right above the Load Resistor Kit.

You have two obstacles:

1) The flashing of the indicators is controlled by the Generic Electronic Module. It is digital and it is pretty much like a "black" box because everything is hidden from you.
2) Since Americans for some reason like the blinkers to be combined with the stop signals, the GEM does that too. It is also done inside the box.

Your best bet would be to purchase the resistor loads.

So, no chance of us having a flasher unit able to be replaced by this?

In my opinion, no. I am not saying it's impossible, though. The whole idea of this custom flasher is to simply replace the stock one. But if you need to spend one day cutting and reassigning the wires, then it is not worth it.
