OP. I am going to do the same. I think it looks pretty good especially when you match the body color. I will switch out projectors and try to stick in another set where the high beams are, space permitting, while they are open.

Hey Jeff. Are those demon eyes in the projectors or just super blue (8000k) HIDs? I've never monkeyed with them myself but I have seen some around town but none look that bright and full of color.

Further more I've been concerned about the whole moisture issue and have been thinking about getting a pair of those " military grade breathers" you see on the higher end LED light bars. They supposedly let the moisture out when the inside of the housing warms up while the lamps are on.

They are demon eyes, I made both of those sets in the picture above for 2 friends of mine. Demon eyes are not easily seen in the daylight with the sun out, but they look fantastic at night, color changing.

As far as upgrading the factory projector, the FX-R projector is plug and play with no work necessary, it makes a beautiful cut off. Ill be throwing one of those in the next set I do to sell.

I'm not sure I would take the halogen reflector out of the high beam, if you put a projector in there I think it would stick out to far in the front and behind that some cutting behind the headlight would be necessary. The bracket that holds the bi-xenon and high beam together is also quite fragile and not it could handle the extra weight.

For sealing, go with retrorubber, I've done 4 sets of headlights with it now and never had one leak or fog up on the inside. Super easy to work with too.

Thanks for the info. I may still try to get a second set of projectors in there but I won't cut anything to make it fit. Good to know the brackets are fragile so it can be handled accordingly. Really cool you haven't had any moisture issues. I'm already nervous to stick these things in the oven and I definitely don't want to do it twice.

You'll be fine. I go with 215 for 8-10 minutes, start at the top middle and work toward the corner. Then you can get your hands in there and pull the rest apart. It's not a big deal to stick it back in the oven to warm them back off.

I take the HID bulb out, ballast, and Turn signal and running light. Less to worry about but they don't have to come out. You'll see clearances when you get them all apart, of what you can and can't get away with.

I think those would look good with most color SVTs...

How much does that dim the lights?

And what do you guys mean by demon eyes?

It shouldn't make it any less bright than normal. It's the chrome colored plastic shroud on the inside of the mach housing that's getting paint. More of just a cosmetic thing. Been seeing it a lot lately and I think it looks good.

Demon eyes are little LEDs that sit behind the projector lens and make the projector glow with color.
