190,000 KM service: new camshaft cover seal, new spark plugs , MSD ignition coil pack

Here is a Focus ST170 down in New Zealand, there was a few misfire problem for quite some weeks. I decided to replace all the plugs, coil and wires and the old cam cover seal.

New oil in and car runs as good as new, well I forgot the sticky throttle but it will be a job for next time.

Hope you guys find this helpful.

Neo

ok i'm curious about this other then i'm jealous as hell you get the ST170

why is the used spark plugs only using 2/3 of the threads and the remaining are untouched its almost like they are not fully seating or they are to long

also you tease us with the engine bay =D show the exterior of the car ^.^

Hi mate, thanks for your interested. Well this ST170 was originally registered in Japan then imported to New Zealand as it is right hand drive. I actually prefer the SVT badge more lol.

I am not sure why the spark plugs were like that, I am pretty sure I screwed them into the slots all the way in. Here goes the exterior:

ahh beautiful car ^.^ i guess its like the Euro version of the North American SVT

=o that front end.. clean design. love the look and the layout.. good grief even the rims look a ton better then what we get

one thing would drive me batty.... those headlights and the common issue with yellowing and fogging.. they really need to be cleaned and buffed... also im curious i see a hole on the right and some sort of cap on the left just in front of the headlights, what are those?

Thank! Yea, the foggy headlights really do need some polishing, well, one job at the time.
Funny to admit I prefer the SVT 5 spoke wheels lol.
The hole there is for the headlights wash nozzle, there is a electrical controlled arm on each side that reaches out a bit and spray water to the headlights. The nozzle on the driverside does not stay on. So I took the whole arm off the bumper, I will need to find the right size rubber seal to make it fit back in.

xD interesting how the markets work but i guess it all depends on availability im sure if we have many of those rims here and vice versa it would be similar heh.. me i just run stock 2000 dual spoke standard aluminum's and a single set of 06 SAP aluminum's and its not a set i have seen many of

You are so right about the wheels.
well, I have owned the ST170 for more than 2 years, I haven't seen many of them on street to be honest. And ST170 costs around ~4000$ USD (6000$ NZD)here, that money can buy way more than 170hp I suppose.
