Sulfur Smell, Poor Idle, Smooth High RPM

Today after a car wash my 2003 Focus SVT starting running poor and a smell of sulfur immediately filled the cab. I pulled all the plugs to make sure they were good, which they were. I would normally look to the EGR valve at this point but from what I can tell the SVT doesn't have one? Not sure where to look at this point was hoping someone may have some insight. Car starts but idles rough but smooths out at higher RPMs, and check Engine light has finally come on and stayed on after going on and off driving home.

Thank you in advance for any advice!

Running rich or misfire, the cat kicks out that smell when doing so from being too overloaded with raw fuel, the cat then has to burn all of it when it should already have been maybe 90% burned by then. Quick way to poison the cat.
