Some clips have little slits where you can fit a zip tie through for a temporary fix, just saying

Hahaha, thanks. I was going to work on my SVT but figured, I did not want to get all dirty so this was still working on a SVT.

I am just glad to have someone else in Utah that has a passion fro Foci. There are not that many. A few years back we had a small group (3-4) that would get for a Saturday / Sunday breakfast and go up the canyons but it has been years since that happened. I was still working on my long rebuild of my ZX3 (the Tick) so sadly had to ride Shotgun with someone. Need someone also to get into auto-x or road racing in their Mk1 Foci so I can compare times with like vehicles.

Still. Not very many people today would do something like that. Especially for someone they don't know beforehand. Not only did you give him advice over the forum but you took the time and drove over yourself and got it going. Good for you man. Im sure the OP is super appreciative as well.
