Thinking of buying an SVT for daily

So I've been thinking of buying an SVT Focus as a daily for a little bit. I currently have a 2016 focus st, but I've been wanting to get into a mustang and get a cheap daily. Would the SVT be a good daily or are they something that has problems arise all the time?

I just picked up a SVT back in December for my DD.

Largest thing is the Timing belt making sure it has been done every 75k (ish) miles.

The intake manifold runner controller fails but other than those two things everything is basically the same maintenance as a standard focus.

I have been driving a SVT daily for 3yrs and it's a fun and reliable ride. Only problem I had was a leaky thermostat housing which is not bad for a 13 yr old car.

I would say yes. I am new to these cars and always have had 302s until I faced the music and have had to commute to work. The car is large enough to not feel like a sardine. Mechanically they seem straight forward and has been very reliable. Only ever had to look at vacuum lines and had a throttle position sensor and coil pack go bad. The parts weren't very expensive either. Plus it's such a neat little car. You can always dream to dope it out one day!!!!!
