Zetec w/ svt IM, Intake pipe, MAF, ECU...

Stupid question, but, should I use the Zetec injectors or the SVT injectors? The only thing Zetec is the engine itself.

I have both kinds of injectors, but I only have svt IM, ECU, Intake pipe, and MAF to work with.

I assume I should use the SVT ones since they are matched to the maf, pipe, ecu.

I'm thinking that too man. But I'm not 100% sure. I'm thinking match them with ecu and all that too.

If you are using the SVT ECU and MAF then you should definitely use the SVT injectors.
Stock are 19lb/hr and the SVT are 32lb/hr quite a difference in flow.

Copy that. I figured I should. I was just wondering if it will be over fueling the 9.6:1 motor. Meh, maybe the ecu will have enough adjustment to compensate. I do plan on buying an sct for it, but I was hoping to wait to get it tuned until after I get all of the turbo parts on it, which may still take me a while.

And if you use a Zetec head with an SVT intake the ports don't match up. The SVT intake sits higher than a standard Zetec manifold. A quick and dirty fix (albeit not 100% a match) is to knock out the metal bushings on the SVT intake bolt holes to drop it a bit.

Has anyone ever ran the irmc on a standard zetec that doesn't have vct? Of course I planned to eliminate all of that anyway when I have all the boosted bits I need. Just curious really.
