As the summer begins...problems arise

I am looking for new brakes,
I have Powerstop brakes picked out, just daily drivers.
Any word on quality?

Might be looking at a new suspension, I cannot tell if Im lowered or the fact of the stock springs are so old it sags. Any idea? They are black coils with yellow paint dots on them.

There's more but Im just having fun fixing them as I go.

For brakes, you really can't go wrong with Centric Rotors and Hawk HPS Pads. Tried and true and perform great on the street.

Heck, I've had fantastic luck with the Ford stock rotors and pads. Bought my '03 new and did a good bit of track time the first couple years. Stock Conti tires and brakes performed great. Tires lasted about 30k, replaced pads at around 80k. Didn't replace rotors til almost 150k.

Just bought drilled/slotted rotors and ceramic pads off of Amazon for $250, not everybody likes ceramics or the rotors but if you do they have been great quality so far. Also eliminated the squeaky rear brakes I had.

I got the stock svt suspension kit on amazon for $295, also got sway bar links and stabilizer link bars and that brought the total up to $343. The front of my car sags bad, tires rub the fender on every little bump so I'm excited to get this suspension in. It did not come with strut mounts(only reason I haven't done it yet), they come in friday

I am looking to do brakes on my SVT. Bought it and the rotors are all warped. I used to be a HPS fan but seems the have changed the compound and I have not liked it in the last few years.

That being said I am wanting to go with porterfield r4s and a set of blank rotors. My budget is going to say go with the Pep Boys ProStop cheap pads as I am on a budget. I have been running those on my Miata and its not bad for what they are. Decent stopping power with ok modulation. Its no performance pad for the track. My miata gets its G Loc pads swapped on for that.

But just get some ok pads and blank rotors. No need for drilled and slotted. In the miata if I spend more than $20 a rotor I have spent to much.
