you should be able to see it really well from underneath. Jack the car up, look at where the header comes together into one and meets the catalytic converter, it should be right at that point next to the oil pan, pointing straight up.

I just did mine last night, you will need a 7/8 offset wrench or a o2 sensor socket, heat it up til its nice and hot, I like to use candle wax and put it on the threads, helps to break the threads loose. Put some pressure and bounce on the wrench or ratchet to pop it loose, you may only get it to turn a bit before it cools down, so heat it back up again and repeat. Patience is key, if you reef on it it will strip the threads and then you will need to weld in a new bung.

Ditto to what Pasta Said, use a Motorcraft brand part, I ordered mine from Rockauto. I have used ntk in the past for svt focus' too and it worked well. Whatever you do don't buy a bosch sensor.
