Im thinking of parting out my svt

So other day on my way to work im pretty sure i seized my engine. I have always loved the car. But im thinking it is just going to be too expensive to swap the motor out. i paid $2000 for the car a year and a half ago i definetely got my money out of it. im just really torn because its a nice car and i hate parting it out but to be honest i have a few other projects that i could use the money from the part out on this one. Im pretty sure it is seized bc when i left my driveway i left a trail of water. I didnt know this till after obviously. but ran down highway and ten minutes later started loosing power and so i killed it coasted off highway and checked engine. No water. My gauges never showed hot either. Not my water temp or oil temp which really pisses me off. But when i try to crank it you can tell its seaized. I dont hear the pistons moving i just hear starter noise. Another reason im not really looking to fix it is it had hail damage so i started to repair but it is half sanded and bondo, cracked windshield. so i would have to swap motor, finish body work, and paint. Not sure i want to spend my time on it.

If you do decide to part out, I am VERY interested in the motor and possibly trans. I can pickup as well.

Pasta is right, you can make your money back in a partout. Lots of little parts go for quite a bit in multiple markets.

Shoot me a PM!

Water & oil temp are off the same sensor, if it never warmed up at all by the gauges that's the issue. Too late now.

BST section for actual part out thread should you go that way.
