Whats that part called?

Ok, so, I had a "OH CRAP" moment involving a corner, some volcanic rock that hadn't been swept off the road yet from the last snow storm, and a mound of dirt.

Damaged my horn (how????), cracked the front bumper a little. and destroyed the air deflector thing that channels air from the grill openings through the radiator. What is this part officially called so I can search for it?

I got one, I only have the piece that mounts on top of the frame like an air duct. And the tubing is ripped. It's on there for no reason lol

I'd say air box snorkel? Air duct?

I just ordered these from Tasca.

It is a three piece system; a middle radiator air deflector and two baffles on either side.

Middle piece, radiator air deflector, part # YS4Z-8310-HB: LOWER SHIELD for 2002 Ford Focus|YS4Z-8310-HB

Right-hand piece, baffle, part # YS4Z-8310-CA: SIDE SHIELD for 2002 Ford Focus|YS4Z-8310-CA

Left-hand piece, baffle, part # YS4Z-8311-CA: SIDE SHIELD for 2002 Ford Focus|YS4Z-8311-CA

You definitely want the deflector and baffles in place. They help protect the underside of the engine bay components, help the radiator cool more efficiently, and help direct airflow underneath the car and out the back--thus improving aerodynamic efficiency by reducing drag.

Perfect! Thank you!

And I can attest to the importance of them with data. Flat land 65mph cruise before they were damaged was around 180-182*f now, with just one corner of it missing a few shards, the rest in place, it hovers around 190.

You're welcome. I haven't installed mine yet, but they will be installed next week. I will let you know if there are any eccentricities involved with the installation.
