ABS and trac control lights

So the other day I started up my car and noticed that my abs and trac control lights were on. Just curious if this happened to anyone else. I think it's the abs sensor and if it is, is it an easy fix? Thanks guys

generally any fault in the ABS/TC system will light up both lights.

most OBD readers wont be able to pull the ABS code, but if you knew someone with access to the proprietary Ford codes (most transmission shops. etc)

in my case when this happened, it was a broken wire for one of the wheel speed sensors. but there are many reasons for that light

Thanks I'm going to be taking it to the shop in within the next two weeks (during my spring break) I hope it's nothing serious because it just popped up out of no where

It's probably a wheel sensor, the scanner will tell which one.

Update: the lights have turned off a couple days ago and have not turned back on I'm thinking that it was the cold that was messing with it
