headlight wiring question

My stock HID lights are damaged so I decided to get some of the regular lights for the focus because I donít really want to shell out the money. I purchased some of the Motorcraft harnesses to do the conversion but Iím running into an issue still. I basically followed this diagram (in reverse, even though it says VW plug it looks identical to the stock Ford one). Theoretically it should have worked no prob. Well, I hooked up ground/high/low beams on one side, plugged it in and everything worked. When I did the other side, the lights worked but not the signals. The signal blinks really fast on the dash but the side marker signals were still not coming on. The hazards work and the signals work when the lights are off but as soon as they are switched on, the signals donít work and everything is haywire. I wonder if this is because the original wires for the signals are not hooked up to anything now because the non HID lights do not have the signal in it. There are two grounds coming out of the stock HID harness but only one ground going into the #4 slot, should I just wire them both into there? Any thoughts and suggestions? I need to get the car on the road before the snow, my rwd truck is not fun in the snow. Thanks!

Thanks pasta.
I actually figured it out after hours of trial and error - I was like there is no other possible way to hook this up then I realized that the fuse for the 'city lights' was bad making everything go screwy. Problem solved!

Does anyone know what the part number of the harness in the picture on this post is called? Where to find it? The parts store does not have this and something else comes up. 2003 Ford Focus, looks just like the piece in the pic.
