Question Tow Hitch-SVT

I know its wrong but I have to have a way to drag my JetSki to the lake.
Has anyone with an SVT or a Foci with a low rear bumper have a hitch installed.

I let U-haul put one on Friday eve and it bent the Black piece up to make room for the Draw bar. I told them to take it off that it was the wrong part. He tried to prove that it was the right part, and could never pull up a part number. He even called a Hitch distribution company and they couldn't pull one up either. They also couldn't put on the wiring harness.
I thought about calling Valley Tow directly and cutting out the middle man.

U-Haul sucks.... Anyway was just curious if anyone had one on their car.

Yeah U-Haul doesnt actually have a hitch for an SVT...its for a ZX5 or ZX3 and the bumpers are different so thats what happens when you get one installed. Depending on how much you take your ski out I would just remove the hitch and re-install it each time if your gonna stick with that one......also remove the rear diffuser when installed so it doesnt rub. Personally I would look into having a custom one made with the 1 inch reciever and cut a square hole out of the diffuser and just put something kewl in the reciever when its not being used if you plan on pulling the ski alot. Im having the same issue because I want to pull my motorcycle trailer up to the mountains. As for wiring.....havent done it but Im sure its not that hard to do on your own.

Searching for a hitch

I've searched several hitch eTailers and no one carries a hitch for a ZX3 or ZX5 to say nothing of the SVT variants. All I could find listings for were the sedan and the wagon.

Here are the sites I checked:

http://www.hidden-hitch.com/
http://www.usa-trailer-hitches.com/
http://www.drophitch.com/
http://www.1800hitchit.com/

I'm thinking I'll have to go with a custom solution but have no idea what that might cost especially since the end product must be as presentable as it must be functional.

Tow Hitch

Hi :

Ive bought a new 4 door Focus sedan.
Ive seen the links listed and all the hitches seem to have the same mounting.
In spite of this none of the hitches shown seems to fit in the rear chassis of my car.
It seems that the chassis of the FOCUS built in Argentina is a little bit different of those built in other parts of the world.

I installed a Draw-Tite hitch (designed for the Focus) from etrailer (~$85) on my 2004 ZX5 Premium (car made in Mexico). It fit pretty well, although the instructions called out the wrong location for one of the adapter brackets (the one with the two round holes). Basically 4 bolts, with one hole drilled in the frame.

Tow hitch

I did no hole in the chassis.
I only need to do one to pass the lights cables to the trailer from the interior of the hood.
I have to connect the lights cables from the wiring harness inside the hood.
