The twin-turbo 4cyl that was reported was a guess; its going to be a single turbo, just like the WRX and Evo

what i thought but i looked up twin turbo I-4 and some old MR2s came with what was called "Dual entry Turbo" which was a smaller turbo spooling for a larger turbo like EuroZX3 was talking about.

Pio, My interpretation of the the car in the article is a Mazda 6 2.3 turbo awd concept car. I don't see anything about Ford. The only thing we know that concept car has in common with the current 2.3 in the Ford is the displacement. It might be a different engine.

well...
i dont know if you heard..
BUT...
the ford is using the mazda duratec 2.3 engine...
the same used on Mazda 3 and mazda 6
the 3 and the focus is the same car but different body...just like the probe/mx6

and BTW...ford and mazda had always have twin cars....

well mercury is a ford sister company and so is Lincoln. It's like GM and chevy and GM and buick.
