finalizing paperwork on 2002 focus svt..

i believe my payments are going to be just below 375 for 48 mo.. thats with a 5 year 100,000 mile extended warrenty. goodbye leased civic , hello financed focus. excitment level up! o yah finalizing sunday

Dont wanna bust your bubble bro, but the 02's are known to have alot of problems, mainly because it was the first year they came out. I really don't recommend you get an 02. Sorry i just don't wanna hear of a new focus owner being disappointed. i'd get an 03 or 04 if i were you. Good luck

ill get the 02 with the warrenty and when it brakes down they can fix it lol my si has already had a leak in the hatch fixed and transmission rebuilt how much worse can you get eh?

Plus by now if it had any issues/recall work in the past 3 years they would've already been caught and fixed by the dealer.

Not necessarily - there's always something new around the corner. My stuck cruise control cable that held the throttle wide open was apparently a new occurence, since I've never heard of it before and the dealer had to document it...
